...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SHASTA COUNTY THROUGH

715 PM PDT...



At 650 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11

miles northeast of O'brien, or 19 miles northeast of Shasta Dam,

moving southwest at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.
