...A STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN JUDITH 

BASIN...WEST CENTRAL FERGUS AND SOUTH CENTRAL CHOUTEAU COUNTIES 

THROUGH 230 PM MDT...



At 137 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking several thunderstorms 

developing across the Judith Basin, including a strong storm near 

Square Butte or 11 miles northeast of Geyser. These storms were 

moving northeast at 25 mph. In addition to lightning, Strong wind 

gusts to 50 mph are possible near these storms with pea size hail 

possible beneath the strongest cell. 



 

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Geraldine, Denton, Coffee Creek, and Square Butte.
