...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL LA PAZ COUNTY

THROUGH 400 PM MST...



At 333 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9

miles northwest of Quartzsite, or 24 miles south of Parker, moving

north at 10 mph.



Strong, gusty winds will be capable of producing areas of blowing

dust with reduced visibilities down under 5 miles.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.

Quartzsite.
