...THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED ACROSS GILA, MARICOPA, AND PINAL 

COUNTIES OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS...



At 108 PM MST, radar indicated several thunderstorms across southern 

Gila County, with increasing coverage of thunderstorms across 

eastern and central Gila County and future development anticipated 

across higher terrain areas of Pinal and far eastern Maricopa 

Counties over the next several hours.



Conditions are becoming more favorable for the development of

additional thunderstorms. Some storms may become strong to severe.



Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible.



Locations impacted include...

Globe, Superior, Hayden, Christmas, Sycamore Creek, Roosevelt,

Sunflower, San Carlos, Miami, Cutter, Hilltop, Roosevelt Dam,

Sawmill, Top-Of-The-World, Central Heights-Midland City, Tonto

National Monument, Four Peaks, Apache Lake, Boyce Thompson Arboretum,

and Top Of The World.



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

shelter inside a building or vehicle.



Any future thunderstorm development may become severe, so be certain 

to monitor local radio stations and available television stations 

for additional information and possible warnings from the National 

Weather Service.
