...Strong thunderstorms will continue to impact portions of western 

Idaho and southwestern Clearwater Counties through 745 PM PDT...



At 710 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong 

thunderstorms 8 miles northeast of Riggins, or 29 miles south of 

Grangeville, moving north at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph, continuous moderate-to-heavy 

         rainfall, and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Grangeville, Kooskia, Riggins, White Bird, East Kamiah, Clearwater,

Stites, Riggins Hot Spring, Lucile, Glenwood, Woodland, Winona, Slate

Creek, Harpster, and Fenn.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

stations and available television stations for additional information

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
