...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Lake,

northern Missoula and southeastern Sanders Counties through 830 PM

MDT...



At 757 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Ronan, or 15 miles south of Polson, moving northeast at 35 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Polson, Ronan, Pablo, Turtle Lake, Dixon, Allentown, Moiese, Round

Butte, Kicking Horse, Charlo, Finley Point, and Salmon Prairie.



This includes the following highways...

 Highway 83 between mile markers 46 and 50.

 Highway 93 N between mile markers 40 and 58.
