At 649 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Rocky Point, or over Polson, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Polson, Pablo, Rocky Point, Jette, Kerr, Swan Lake, Turtle Lake, Kings Point, and Finley Point. This includes the following highways... Highway 83 between mile markers 60 and 77. Highway 93 N between mile markers 50 and 65. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding where multiple cells are training over the same area. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
