...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL MONTEZUMA AND

SOUTHWESTERN LA PLATA COUNTIES THROUGH 230 PM MDT...



At 154 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 

miles southwest of Mancos, or near Mesa Verde National Park, moving 

south at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Mesa Verde Natl Park.
