...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL DAWES AND

NORTHEASTERN SIOUX COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM MDT...



At 246 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7

miles east of Montrose, or 28 miles southeast of Edgemont, moving

southeast at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Fort Robinson State Park and Toadstool Geological Park and

Campground.
