NORTHEASTERN GEM...SOUTHEASTERN ADAMS AND EAST CENTRAL WASHINGTON

COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM MDT...



At 944 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Granger Butte, or 28 miles northeast of Weiser, moving northeast at

30 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust possible. Minor 

         damage to outdoor objects is possible.



This strong thunderstorm will be near...

  Granger Butte around 950 PM MDT.

  Indian Mountain around 1010 PM MDT.

  Tamarack Ski Area and northern Cascade Reservoir around 1020 PM 

  MDT.
