...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY

THROUGH 700 PM MDT...



At 608 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

McChord Butte, or 17 miles north of Weiser, moving northeast at 30

mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing 

         visibilities. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.



This strong thunderstorm will be near...

  McChord Butte and Mann Creek Guard Station around 610 PM MDT.

  Sturgill Peak around 620 PM MDT.

  Brownlee Guard Station around 640 PM MDT.
