...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL HARNEY AND

SOUTHWESTERN MALHEUR COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM PDT...



At 423 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Moon Hill, or 48 miles west of Rome, moving northeast at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing 

         visibilities. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.



This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Harney

and southwestern Malheur Counties.
