...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN SOCORRO COUNTY

UNTIL 2 PM MDT...



At 136 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20

miles south of National Radio Astronomy Observatory, or 30 miles

southeast of Datil, moving west at 10 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

  Mainly rural areas of Southwestern Socorro County.
