...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO

8 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MOST

OF WEST CENTRAL TEXAS...



* AFFECTED AREA...Fisher, Nolan, Sterling, Coke, Runnels, Irion, 

  Tom Green, Concho, Crockett, Schleicher, Sutton, Haskell, 

  Throckmorton, Jones, Shackelford, Taylor, Callahan and Coleman.



* TIMING...From 10 AM this morning to 8 PM CDT this evening.



* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.



* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 to 15 percent. 



* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread 

  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions

are either occurring now or will occur shortly. A combination of

strong winds, low humidity and dry fuels will contribute to

extreme fire behavior.
