PARISHES...EASTERN MARION...SOUTHERN CASS AND NORTHEASTERN HARRISON

COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM CDT...



At 504 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from near Linden to Kildare to near Mooringsport to 

6 miles southwest of Shreveport. These thunderstorm was nearly 

stationary.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Shreveport, Bossier City, Vivian, Greenwood, Blanchard, Waskom,

Linden, Oil City, Mooringsport, Bivins, Lodi, Smithland, McLeod,

Kildare, Karnack, Gray, Fairview, Uncertain, Spring Ridge, and Cross

Lake.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.
