...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL BLOUNT AND SOUTH CENTRAL

SEVIER COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM EDT...



At 635 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Maryville, moving southeast at 40 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Smoky Mountains-Kuwohi, Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek, Smoky

Mountains-Fontana Area, Townsend, Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains

National Park, Happy Valley, and Walland.
