...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CRENSHAW AND

NORTHERN COVINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM CDT...



At 412 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5

miles north of Dozier, or 12 miles southwest of Luverne, moving

southwest at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Andalusia, Brantley, River Falls, Red Level, Dozier, Heath, and

Gantt.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.
