At 157 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Gramercy, or 7 miles west of Reserve, moving southeast at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Gonzales, Reserve, Hahnville, Laplace, Gramercy, Lutcher, Sorrento,

French Settlement, Killona, South Vacherie, Edgard, North Vacherie,

Garyville, Wallace, Taft, Whitehall, Montz, Raceland, and Chackbay.



This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 183 and

203.
