...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL GRANT COUNTY

THROUGH 400 PM MDT...



At 327 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Lake Roberts. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Lake Roberts, Gila Hot Springs, Gattons Park, Copperas Vista, Sapillo

Creek Valley, Sapillo Campground, and Portions of the Gila

Wilderness.
