...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN DUVAL...MCMULLEN AND

SOUTHWESTERN LIVE OAK COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM CDT...



At 745 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from near Tilden to 13 miles west of Seven Sisters.

Movement was southeast at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Freer, Tilden, Seven Sisters, Loma Alta, Simmons, Clegg, and Rosita.



This includes the following highways...

 US Highway 281 between mile markers 624 and 628.

 US Highway 59 between mile markers 728 and 770.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for

south central Texas.
