...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN LA SALLE AND NORTHERN

MCMULLEN COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM CDT...



At 702 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong

thunderstorms along a line extending from near Zella to near

Fowlerton to 6 miles northwest of Fort Ewell Site. Movement was east

at 35 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Tilden, Fort Ewell Site, Crowther, Cross, Zella, and Fowlerton.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for

south central Texas.
