NORTHEASTERN HALE AND SOUTHWESTERN BIBB COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM

CDT...



At 918 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Moundville, or 11 miles south of Tuscaloosa, moving east at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Mound State Park, Pearson, Moundville, Elliots Creek, Low Gap, Mertz,

and Hull.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
