...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN TUSCALOOSA...

SOUTHEASTERN PICKENS...NORTHEASTERN GREENE AND NORTHEASTERN HALE

COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM CDT...



At 739 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Mantua, or 12 miles east of Aliceville, moving east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Snoddy, Englewood, Ralph, Northport, Little Sandy, Maxwell,

Moundville Airport, Union, Fosters Boat Landing, Hull, Mound State

Park, Stillman College, McFarland Mall, Pleasant Ridge, Lewiston,

Benevola, Elliots Creek, Shelton State Community College, Tuscaloosa

Amphitheater, and Bryant Denny Stadium.
