...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN MARENGO...SOUTH CENTRAL

HALE AND SOUTHEASTERN SUMTER COUNTIES THROUGH 300 AM CDT...



At 224 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8

miles south of Coatopa, or 15 miles southeast of York, moving east at

65 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Demopolis, Jefferson, Newbern, Faunsdale, Dayton, Pin Hook, Chickasaw

State Park, U.S. 80 and AL 28, Old Spring Hill, Gallion, Whitfield,

Laneville, and Demopolis Municipal Airport.
