The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued an Airport

Weather Warning for...



Montgomery Regional Airport /MGM/



The following weather hazards are expected:



Expect thunderstorms with cloud to ground lightning to move in and 

out across the Montgomery Regional Airport /MGM/ and its vicinity 

through 10 pm and potentially longer.



Strong winds associated with approaching thunderstorms will produce 

wind gusts greater than or equal to 35 knots, mainly from the 

west.



Expect thunderstorms with hail the size of quarters at the 

Montgomery Regional Airport /MGM/ by 845 to 9 PM.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central

Alabama.
