...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN OGLALA LAKOTA...

SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON AND NORTHWESTERN BENNETT COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM

MDT...



At 635 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from 4 miles west of Snake Butte to 2 miles

southeast of Evergreen. Movement was south at 35 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Strong thunderstorms will be near...

  Porcupine, Porcupine Butte Housing, and Yellow Bear Canyon around 

  640 PM MDT.



Other locations impacted by these storms include Pine Ridge

Reservation.
