...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL JACKSON COUNTY THROUGH

700 PM MDT...



At 622 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6

miles west of Kadoka, moving south at 5 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Jackson

County.



This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 141

and 154.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for
