...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN CHEROKEE AND SOUTH

CENTRAL CRAWFORD COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM CDT...



At 312 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

West Mineral, or 8 miles northwest of Columbus, moving northeast at

20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Pittsburg, Columbus, Cherokee, Weir, Sherman, Scammon, Chicopee,

Asbury, West Mineral, Roseland, Beulah, Carona, Hallowell, Skidmore,

Sherwin, and Stippville.
