NORTHWESTERN NICHOLAS AND EASTERN HARRISON COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM

EDT...



At 228 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9

miles northwest of Carlisle. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Cynthiana, Carlisle, Millersburg, Oddville, Ellisville, Headquarters,

Claysville, Colville, Barefoot, and Blue Licks Springs.
