...Much Colder Saturday Night into Sunday With Light Snow Possible...



Colder air will move into the region late Saturday and especially

Saturday night into Sunday following the passage of a cold front.

Isolated to scattered snow showers are also possible from late

Saturday evening into early Sunday before these taper to flurries.

A dusting to a half of an inch of snow is possible, mainly north

and east of a Somerset to Williamsburg line. Locally higher

amounts are anticipated east of US 421. 



Temperatures are expected to fall to between 10 and 18 around dawn

on Sunday and not rise above the upper teens to mid 20s range 

during the day on Sunday. Apparent temperatures could near or fall

below zero on Sunday morning in more western locations.



Those traveling on Saturday night into Sunday morning should

exercise caution as slick, snow covered, or icy spots may develop

on roadways and walking surfaces as temperatures drop. Also, if 

outside, wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
