...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PULASKI AND WESTERN

ROCKCASTLE COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM EDT...



At 516 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from near Indian Lakes Park to Bandy to near

Shopville. Movement was northeast at 10 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and torrential rain.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Mount Vernon, Bee Lick, Sand Springs, Hiatt, Gum Sulphur, Bandy,

Pongo, Quail, Maretburg, Ottowa, Woodstock, Spiro, Shopville, Wabp,

Bloss, Lake Linville, Hansford, Renfro Valley, Valley Oak, and

Willailla.



THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...

 Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 62 and

64.

 Kentucky Highway 80 in Pulaski County between mile markers 28 and

38.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
