At 630 pm, widespread freezing drizzle continues across southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa according to law enforcement and weather radar. However, the drizzle has stopped west of Highway 63. Further east, it was also just beginning to fall in Winona and La Crosse as the snow has now ended there. In northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota, east of Highway 63, expect the freezing drizzle to end from west to east by about 8 pm. In Wisconsin, a period of 2 to 3 hours of freezing drizzle is expected this evening once the snow ends. The impact of the freezing drizzle and any ice glazing will be greatest for untreated secondary roads. The overall impact of the icing is prolonged slick roads that were snow covered. Be careful if moving about this this evening as conditions may be more slippery due to the combination of snow and freezing drizzle. $$
