...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MANATEE...

SOUTHWESTERN POLK AND SOUTHEASTERN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTIES THROUGH 430

PM EDT...



At 350 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Parrish, or 7 miles east of Palmetto. This thunderstorm was nearly

stationary.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Parrish, Greater Sun Center, Ellenton, Bradley Junction, Little

Manatee River State Park, Alafia River State Park, Duette, Wimauma,

Fort Lonesome, and Willow Oak.
