SOUTHWESTERN DESOTO AND EAST CENTRAL SARASOTA COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM

EDT...



At 514 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Charlotte County Airport, or 7 miles east of Port Charlotte, moving

northwest at 10 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

North Port, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Charlotte County Airport,

Murdock, Lake Suzy, Solana, Harbour Heights, Cleveland, Fort Ogden,

and Charlotte Harbor.
