...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL GULF AND SOUTHEASTERN

CALHOUN COUNTIES IN THE PANHANDLE OF FLORIDA...SOUTHWESTERN LIBERTY

AND NORTHWESTERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES IN BIG BEND FLORIDA THROUGH 700 PM

EDT/600 PM CDT/...



At 612 PM EDT/512 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong

thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Wewahitchka, or 17 miles northeast

of Port St. Joe, moving northeast at 40 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Honeyville, Vilas, Chipola Cutoff, Jensen Place, Wewahitchka, Central

City, Orange, Red Hill, Clio, Scotts Ferry, Estiffanulga, Kern,

Bristol, Willis Landing, Nixon Garden, Hugh Creek, Chipola Park, Twin

Pole, Dalkeith, and Telogia.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
