BERRIEN...LANIER...NORTHERN LOWNDES...NORTHERN THOMAS...CENTRAL

BROOKS AND SOUTHERN COLQUITT COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM EDT...



At 428 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported strong thunderstorms

along a line extending from near Mayday to 6 miles east of

Ochlocknee. Movement was northwest at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.

Barretts, Dillon, Greggs, Merrillville, Moultrie Municipal A/P,

Morven, Murphy, Naylor, Courthouse, Greenwood, Berlin, Patten, Center

Hill, Pavo, Meigs, I-75 At Exit 29, Adel, Valdosta, Thomasville, and

Newark.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.
