SOUTHERN LIBERTY AND NORTHWESTERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 130 PM

EDT/1230 PM CDT/...



At 1235 PM EDT/1135 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong

thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles northeast of Port

St. Joe to 11 miles northwest of Carrabelle. Movement was north at 10

mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

East Camp, Honeyville, Buck Siding, Morgan Place, Stonemill Creek,

High Bluff, Chipola Cutoff, Wewahitchka, Beverly, Owens Bridge, White

City, Poplar Camp, Kern, Wilma, Sumatra, Howard Creek, Willis

Landing, Twin Pole, Creels, and Hays Place.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.

Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

shelter inside a building or vehicle.
