At 631 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Benson, or 11 miles east of Lillington, moving southeast at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Smithfield, Lillington, Dunn, Angier, Benson, Godwin, Erwin, Coats,

Four Oaks, and Newton Grove.
