...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WAYNE...SOUTHERN

EDGECOMBE AND WILSON COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM EDT...



At 138 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Fremont, or 11 miles north of Goldsboro, moving east at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Goldsboro, Tarboro, Wilson, Elm City, Fremont, Sharpsburg, Pinetops,

Kenly, Lucama, and Stantonsburg.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
