...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL ORANGE COUNTY

THROUGH 530 PM EDT...



At 503 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Lake Nona, or near Orlando International Airport, moving northeast at

20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Orlando, Wedgefield, Avalon Park, Orlando International Airport, and

Lake Hart.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Seek

safe shelter inside a sturdy building or hard-topped vehicle.
