...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN LAKE AND

SOUTHWESTERN ORANGE COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM EDT...



At 500 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7

miles southwest of Lake Louisa, or 8 miles south of Groveland, moving

northeast at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Winter Garden, Groveland, Mascotte, Bay Lake, and Ferndale.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Seek

safe shelter inside a sturdy building or hard-topped vehicle.
