MARTIN AND NORTHWESTERN BEAUFORT COUNTIES THROUGH 100 AM EDT...



At 1227 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Bethel, or 9 miles south of Tarboro, moving east at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Bethel, Stokes, Robersonville, Gold Point, Parmele, Everetts,

Falkland, Hassell, and Beargrass.
