...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL BRADFORD...SOUTHERN

BAKER...UNION AND EAST CENTRAL COLUMBIA COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM

EDT...



At 225 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm

capable of producing a landspout over Groves, or near Worthington

Spring, moving north at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts around 40 mph, excessive 

         cloud-to-ground lightning, and minor flooding due to heavy 

         rainfall.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds 

         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured 

         objects. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is possible. 

         Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring.



Locations impacted include...

Lake Butler, Raiford, Worthington Spring, Worthington Springs,

Palestine Community, Groves, Olustee, Beasley, New River, and Upland

Pines.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

shelter inside a building or vehicle.
