...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT DARLINGTON COUNTY THROUGH 345 AM

EDT...



At 243 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Clyde, or 9 miles north of Bishopville, moving east at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Hartsville, Darlington, North Hartsville, Dovesville, Lydia, Auburn,

Darlington Raceway, Swift Creek, Clyde, Oats, Floyd, Kellytown, Mont

Clare, Society Hill, and Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center.
