...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN SWAIN AND GRAHAM

COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM EDT...



At 737 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10

miles northwest of Robbinsville, or 6 miles northwest of Town Of

Santeetlah, moving southeast at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Robbinsville, Town Of Santeetlah, Fontana Village, Lake Santeetlah,

Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek, Nantahala, Tapoco, Cheoah, and

Deals Gap.
