...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LAURENS...EAST

CENTRAL GREENVILLE AND SOUTHWESTERN SPARTANBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 745

PM EDT...



At 715 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8

miles east of Greenville Downtown, or near GSP Airport, moving

southeast at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Greenville Downtown, Greenville Eastside, Greer, Mauldin, Taylors,

Simpsonville, Five Forks, Fountain Inn, Woodruff, and Duncan.
