...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN YORK COUNTY THROUGH

645 PM EDT...



At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4

miles north of Rock Hill, or near Tega Cay, moving southwest at 10

mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Newport, Carowinds, Lake Wylie, and

Lesslie.
