...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL LAURENS...

SOUTHEASTERN GREENVILLE AND NORTHEASTERN ANDERSON COUNTIES THROUGH

615 PM EDT...



At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong

thunderstorms 12 miles northeast of Anderson, or near West Pelzer,

moving south at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Anderson, Piedmont, Belton, Williamston, West Pelzer, Donaldson

Center, Powdersville, Homeland Park, Mauldin, and West Greenville.
