...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ABBEVILLE AND

SOUTHERN GREENWOOD COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 AM EDT...



At 1152 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9

miles southeast of Abbeville, or 6 miles north of Troy, moving

northeast at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Coronaca, Bradley, Greenwood, Promised Land, Ninety Six Historic

Site, Ninety Six, Epworth, Troy, and Callison.
