...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN UNION COUNTY THROUGH 

1030 PM EDT...



At 939 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9

miles southeast of Indian Land, or near Waxhaw, moving east at 25

mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Trinity, Waxhaw, Mineral Springs, Wesley Chapel, Jaars, Monroe,

Weddington, Sturdivants, and Marvin.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
